Peacock Shrug by Rock Chick

    Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Melange, 2 hanks (272 yds each) Needles: 10 1/2 US
      Directions:
        Cast on 52 stitches, knitting in stockinette stitich for 2", ending on a WS row. Beginning next row (RS) (k1, yo, k2tg)* repeat to end of ro. Purl next row. Repeat these 2 rows 3 times. Continue in ss to give you as much length up the arm and across the back as you need/want and then repeat the start from the yo rows back down. Crocheted lace embelleishment on cuffs: Pick up one stitch at sleeve end, chain 7, skip one sleeve stitch, pick up next and chain 7. Repeat to end of sleeve. Next row: Chain 5, pick up 4th stitch (middle one) in 7 chain below, chain 5, continue pattern acros row. Next row: Chain 4, pick up 3rd stitch in 5 chain below, chain 4 skip one stitch and pick up next. Continue this pattern across row. Final row: Chain 3 and pick up stitches along flounce to create little pointy ends. Continue across row. Block. Sew sleeves up to armpits. Wear. Enjoy!
