We are not a knitting magazine, rather a collection of free patterns and links to downloadable patterns on the web for hand knitters. Every pattern submitted will be posted.

Patterns submitted to us will be posted in one of the above categories and links to designs on the web are found in the sidebar.

Periodically, KDS will host design challenges. During these challenges a theme will be announced (such as starts, pinup, one ball challenge) and designers will be asked to submit patterns which will all be posted on the site.

Featured Link Abracadam French magazine features patterns by Phildar and other French designers. A small but great selection of patterns, including Phildar patterns from some out of print magazines. Each pattern costs 1.50 euro for a pdf file of the pattern. All patterns are in French and found in the site under the "loisirs" section.

Rules of Submission:
1. All patterns and charts MUST include a photo or illustration, no exceptions
2. Please submit pattern as a PDF attachment or text within an e-mail and attach a photo/illustration
3. At this time you will need to host your image at your own site, if this is impossible please e-mail if you need instructions on how to do this or if you can't and we'll work it out.
4. Please note if you hold the copyright for the pattern or if you are willing to leave it in the public domain
